Rebel ARTISTS Meeting @ Thu, Feb 15, 2024

Thank you for joining today
Rebel Platform

We walked through the basics of what the platform is doing, but focused on how listening communities should work on the platform.

Listening communities are an interactive playlist.

Player

Artists have the ability to publish 3 tracks at a time to public communities.  Artists can publish all of their tracks to private communities.  Public communities serve as an interactive playlist for listeners. Private communities can function as a place for artists to collaborate on projects or as a place where they interact with listeners.

Map

Justin from MorningStar Media expressed how different the map feature could help artists tie back their music to the live shows. The map can also be used to help users identify what is going on now near them.

Message Board

In addition to the player, we are working out how to have a message board on the same page as the player.  Zoo discussed incorporating Discord here as the message board.  We will look into the feasibility of doing this.

Events

ZOO BEEZE

Zoo is playing live for a MajorStage show on February 29th at the Meadows in Brooklyn.  Instead of our regular Thursday meeting we will be heading out to support Zoo.  Get tickets at the link below:

This show will sell out.
